Hi Danny. Wow, I can't believe I'm really getting to email you. How exciting. Let me just start off by saying how much of a role model you have been for me.  Everytime I turn on MTV I'm hoping to find the New Orleans episodes on, cause you help me out alot. I go to a very small college, one that was even smaller than my high school. So far, or at least from what I can tell, I'm probably the only gay guy here on campus, and practically on the whole island. It's very hard for me cause I really can't talk to anyone here. I know the kind of people who go here and I know they won't understand. Believe it or not, your attitude has inspired me even more to not worry so much about other people. Hearing you talk so freely and openly, and being completely happy being gay provides hope for me that I'll eventually get there some day. Anyways, I just wanted to tell you that, even though I'm sure you hear it all the time. I know you're probably busy, so if you don't have time to write back, it's all good. Thanks for being you......Eric

Hi! Well, this may seem a bit unorthodox...HOWEVER! Hi! I am adrian ryan, gossip columnsit for the Stranger, Seattle. Yes, I have been talking a  lot about our recent transplant, Danny. Well, Danny and I have mutual friends  there (Jimmy M, the photographer from RR for one--but he is in FUCKING AUSTRALIA!!!!! AHHHHHHH! Visiting his boyfriend. Sheesh.) and I am  trying to send the boy an email. None of the published addresses work---they all  come back---BOING! So! I am begging a workable contact address if you have  one available. I realize that is strange, but I have been yabbering about  the boy for going on five columns now, and I'd like to drop him a howdy-do  so I don't seem like an enormous pecker head. I'd normally get it from  Jimmy, but...AUSTRALIA! AHHHH! And I am kinda pressed for time. Help? Help?  Help? HEEEELP!!!! I'd be forever grateful and happy to publish the Dannyandpaul.com address!

Oh, wait...I already did that two columns ago. Well, I'd owe you a beer. Or something  By the way--no pressure. I'd understand if you opt out.

Best wishes!

I love to see people opening up the minds of some "sheltered" or "narrow minded" people. With you respective web sites, I believe that you, Danny, and Paul are doing that one person at a time. You all are great examples of just how wonderful humanity can get!!! Keep up the excellent work!!!! I wish you all long, happy, and healthy lives filled with great fun!!!
Also, the music on your site is OUT-of-this-WORLD!!! :)

Kudos to you sir-----you certainly deserve it!!!,

Danny,

Ok, I know you get TONS of emails and have a lot of people who look up to you or want to contact you so I don't exactly expect to hear back from you (but would be completely floored if I did). There are just some things I wanted to tell you (like you haven't heard it all before).

I never saw the RW from New Orleans until it was on a marathon before the New York season and I'm glad I saw the marathon because I don't think I could have waited a week between episodes. At www.dannyandpaul.com you guys said how much you hated the cameras, but you and Paul being in front of them was a very positive thing. Every time you saw Paul or talked to him or about him your face lit up. The love you have for him showed so much.....it was incredible. I know it sounds kinda cheesy, but I got a huge lump in my throat when he surprised you for Valentine's day. There is no way I, personally, can thank you enough for putting your life on camera and speaking so openly about being gay and how the sexuality part of it is such a minor part of it all. Love is love no matter who it is with.

Love at first sight is something I strongly believe in and was so glad to see that it was the case between you and Paul....and that it REALLY DOES WORK! In a lot of ways, I'm glad we couldn't see Paul's face. We got to see the side of him that is romantic, spontaneous, and caring. We got to see some of the inside of him.....the part that really matters. The outside, physical, can change in an instant, but to truly love someone you love what's inside.

YOU are an inspiration to many people, including me. I strongly admire you for being as open as you were. from what I've seen and read, you are an incredible guy and Paul is very lucky to have found you, as you are to have found him. I guess you could say I'm a little jealous of what you guys have. It's something I want badly. You've proved to me that TRUE love is possible in the gay world and, no matter what, it will prevail.

There is so much I want to say, but can't find the appropriate words right now. Ultimately, I'd love to meet you and Paul or at least communicate with you somehow. You are the type of persone I like to be around (from what I've seen). Realistically I know that probably won't happen. I just wanted to let you know how much impact you have had. You can never tell anyone too much how much you appreciate them and how important they really are when they touch your life.

Thanks, kiddo,
Rob

Just wanted to drop a line and tell you that this is a wonderful site. I think you, Paul and Danny are doing great things through this site. It's nice that you have created a "clean" place were gays, straights or however can come and look around, ask questions, find answers or just sound off. I often become discouraged with the world we live in, but it is nice to know that there are other 20 somethings out there that I can relate to. I can't assume to know the three of you, but you don't seem to be typical gay men with all of the DRAMA. Thank you, and keep up the outstanding work.

Hey Paul,
I've enjoyed reading your posts from the dannyandpaul.com website. I was just wondering how you're dealing with Danny's "fame." If you had to do it over again, do you wish Danny didn't go on the Real World? I know you only knew him for about a week before he went on the show. For me personally, I couldn't be more thankful that he went on the show. He embodies a pure soul that reaches out to countless people like myself. I'm currently in an ackward situation where I'm questioning my own sexuality. Danny has relayed a message to me that its okay if I'm gay. Its great that you have each other and that your both so in love. Congratulations on your successful move to Seattle. I wish you and Danny the best! Thanks.

Hey Jhune...how have you been? I'm sure your pretty busy with work and the website on top of that!! Well it really shows because the website is awesome and I can tell you put endless hours of work into it. Anyways, the reason why I'm writting you is because I just had a suggestion for the site. I am a really big fan of the music that plays in the background of all the pages on the site. I just found this new song online and after listening to it, I thought it would be great for the site. I dunno how crazy you are about country music or having it on the site...but don't worry, I'm not a big fan of it either really. But this song by Trisha Yearwood titled "Inside Out" is a great song!!! The lyrics was the thing that attracted me to this song. Its a really good song about getting to know someone the best they can and I thought maybe it would be a good match on Danny or Paul's bio pages. Anyways, it's just a suggestion that maybe could help you out a little. So take it easy bro and once again...great job on the site!!!

Hi, my name is Jeff. I'm fourteen and from Cincinnati, Ohio. I got your e-mail address from dannandpaul.com, which I love, hope you don't mind me e-mailing you. First off, I would just like to say that you (or whoever) have the best taste in music! Every page has a song I like in the backround which I like. I found it ironic that I was listening to my Room For Squares CD when I first went to your site, and Back to You started playing at your home page. My friend from school told me about him about two months ago, and I've been hooked ever since. I downloaded the whole CD, but then went out to buy it just to give him support or whatever. My favorite songs are My Stupid Mouth or Why Georgia, I don't know, I love all of them!!! I also love Natalie Merchant and the song "All I Want," among others. Anyway, it's surprising how much we have in common, or at least according to the info. on your site. I love tennis, and I actually play competitively. I am currently working on my city ranking, which so far is non-existant. And the fact that I just broke my ankle about 5 weeks ago didn't help, but I'm back now, and I only missed two tournaments.. Anyway, do you play a lot of tennis? I love watching it on t.v., and I absolutely LOVE Lindsay Davenport, and Monica Seles is ok. I was so pissed when Lindsay had to have knee surgery, I almost cried (not literally). I don't think she gets enough credit. I really don't like Venus at all, but Serena is ok sometimes, as long as she isn't playing Lindsay, she's cool with me (that must sound really conceded, o well). On the men's side, I like Andre and Pate, but I love Andy Roddick.....WOW. Yes, I know, I'm only fourteen, but I'm almost 100% sure I'm gay. I'm attracted to other guys (hence the Andy Roddick, although I do like him as a player too) and I connect more with girls on a personality level than I do with guys, I have WAY more girl friends than I do guy, and frankly, I just act like the stereotypical gay guy, not on purpose, that's just the way it is. I know that I'm gay, and it took me a long time to admit it to myself, I hate the fact that I'm gay, and it really sucks because I have no idea what to do next. I have been really hesitant about talking to people on the internet, despite my never-ending e-mail to you. Well, I think I've said a lot, and sorry for taking so much of your time. Please e-mail me back, and do you have an AOL screen name? If so, can I have it? Thanks again!

Hey there. I just sent an e-mail to you, except I think it was your web-sties e-mail address. I was just reading about you, and thought it would be a good idea to e-mail this address also incase you don't check the other one regularly or something. First of all, the site is amazing. It beats the crap out of any others I have been to. (It's even funner than Danny's Official web-site. But don't tell him I said that. lol) I take it you have spent much time learning how to develop web-sites because yours seems complex. Anyways...about my question. I like to keep something similar to a scrap book of pics of people who are fascinating to me. Normally I just paste them on Microsoft Word and paste them, but your site says I need to ask you before doing so. If you could help me here it would be greatly appreciated. I wouldn't be bothering you, but your site in particular has pictures that I normally haven't seen any where else, and there much better! You seem like a pretty cool guy from what I read of you. Thanks for your time, hope to hear back from ya soon.

Subject: Your Site

I was in Awe of your site, and I know this is lame question which I am sure you have heard many times. Which programs do you use for your site. I see swf files which would be macromedia flash, however I can't imagine designing the "www.dannyandpaul.com" black and white illustrated graphic you have, as the intensity fades of each one, in and out. I have begun to using macromedia's product, but just wondering any thoughts you may have. I have a website (i'm 22, So Cal) which is for my own personal information, webcam, etc, and just looking at one of the best I've ever seen, and trying to figure out how you did some of the more complex things.

Thanks, Douglas
